Job Description:   

JOB SUMMARY:

1: Responsible for the property maintenance of all building, plant and equipment including furniture, fixtures and fittings. Manage capital projects and work within the hotel ensuring  all aspects conform to west in Mumbai engineering standards and local legislation.
2: Participate in the overall hotel management as a member of SLT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1: Prepare and manage the annual and revised engineering budget in close cooperation with financial controller and to allocate and countersign all invoices chargeable to the engineering budget before being charged and processed.
2: Assist the security manager with the setup of the hotel and safety committee.
3: Develop and implement an energy awareness committee.
4: Lead the engineering division associates by developing annual objectives in the line with the hotel objectives.
5: Select, train, develop, coach, manage the reporting associates’ performance and motivate them to bring about excellent performance and ensure effective learning of engineering division.
6: Control and administer all engineering contracts throughout the hotel.
7: Develop and implement a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment in the hotel.
8: Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, gardens, pool areas, function rooms, F&B areas, 9: BOH and building exterior and completion of all repairs , replacement and renovation projects to the offices and associate facilities.
10: Confirm that all associates report to the duty wearing proper outfits and lapel pins at all times and assist in the team of an efficient team of associates by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development and have a complete understanding and adhere to the hotels rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATION STANDARD
EDUCATION: College degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel business operation mechanical/electrical experience with small/large size of high rise building maintenance.
