Job Description:   

We are searching for an experienced senior project director to oversee the projects. Should have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of software’s and should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. Candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are being followed.

Responsibilities for a Project Director with an Architectural Background

1. Architectural Design Oversight

o Lead the architectural design process, ensuring that the project’s vision is translated into practical, aesthetic, and functional designs.

o Review and approve architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure they meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.

o Collaborate with the design team to refine concepts and ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

2. Integration of Design and Execution

o Ensure that design intent is maintained throughout the construction process by coordinating closely with the execution team.

o Conduct regular site visits to verify that construction is in accordance with architectural plans and quality standards.

o Address design-related issues that arise during construction, providing solutions that balance design integrity with practical considerations.

3. Client and Stakeholder Collaboration on Design

o Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their vision and requirements, translating them into architectural designs.

o Present design concepts and revisions to clients, ensuring their feedback is incorporated while maintaining project goals.

o Act as a liaison between the client and design team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on design decisions.

4. Sustainability and Innovation in Design

o Champion sustainable design practices, integrating energy-efficient, environmentally friendly solutions into projects.

o Stay informed on the latest architectural trends, technologies, and materials, and apply them to enhance project outcomes.

o Lead the incorporation of innovative design elements that set the project apart and meet or exceed industry standards.

5. Regulatory Compliance and Building Codes

o Ensure that all architectural designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant laws.

o Navigate the permitting process, coordinating with authorities to secure necessary approvals.

o Address any compliance-related issues that arise during the project to avoid delays and ensure legal adherence.

6. Architectural Quality Control

o Establish quality control standards for architectural work, ensuring that all designs meet the highest levels of craftsmanship and precision.

o Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, and construction methods to ensure they align with design goals and quality expectations.

o Conduct final inspections and approvals of completed work to ensure that it meets architectural and project specifications.

7. Mentorship and Development of Design Teams

o Mentor junior architects and design staff, fostering their professional growth and development.

o Lead design reviews and critiques, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the architectural team.

o Ensure that the design team is equipped with the latest tools and knowledge to perform at their best.

Requirements: 

1.      Bachelor's degree in architecture.

2.      M.arch Degree in architecture or design might be preferable.

3.      The relevant state license.

4.      A good portfolio and more than 10 years of work experience as a project in charge.

5.      Excellent leadership and communication skills.

6.      Brilliant interpersonal and networking skills.

7.      Detail-oriented and highly analytical.

8.      In-depth understanding of AutoCAD, Revit and 3D software’s.

9.      Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence.

Qualification: Bachelor's/ Master's degree in architecture
