Job Description:   

We are looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including establishing and managing the performance of WordPress and other similar websites.

Responsibilities :

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality

• Strong Understanding of WordPress, Square space, HUB SPOT, Beaver builder Theme & other Similar Website Builder Tools

• Establishing and guiding the website's architecture

• Ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS

• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin

• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery

• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications

• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites

• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

• Knowledge of how to interact with Restful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial

• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development

• Create a child theme in WordPress, Core PHP, or Laravel framework

• Creating websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS, PHP, and MySQL practices

• Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what time frame

• Maintaining and enhancing the website once built

• Basic understanding of SEO, AMP Pages, Google Core Updates

Key Skills:

HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, Laravel, Bootstrap, JavaScript. knowledge of hosting will be added advantage.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3Yrs of web development experience required.

Graduate in Computer stream preferred. Professional certification in web development is an added advantage.
