Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js Backend Developer to join our dynamic and innovative
development team. As a Node.js Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and
maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications that power our web and mobile
platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers,
and designers, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet our users' needs. Your expertise in building efficient
and secure backend systems will play a crucial role in shaping our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to create seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Implement APIs and integrate with third-party services, databases, and external data sources.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in backend development.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing features and architecture.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration processes.
• Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and system architecture.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and promoting skill development within the team.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work
experience).
• 2+ years of experience as a Node.js Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and server-side JavaScript programming.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js or similar.
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL and proficiency in writing efficient queries.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) and writing unit and integration tests.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset.

Qualification: Bachelors' in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
