Job Description: 1. Coordinate and supervise the execution of joinery and interior fitout projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
2. Collaborate with the design team to review project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
3. Work closely with the estimation team to review project scope, materials, and costs, and provide inputs for accurate project budgeting and cost estimation.
4. Manage and oversee the project execution, including procurement of materials, coordination with subcontractors, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
5. Liaise with design consultants, contractors and subcontractors (Civil and MEP) to ensure effective communication, address any concerns, and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
7. Resolve any project-related issues or disputes, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure project objectives are met.
8. Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and quality assessments, to senior management and clients.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards, as well as health and safety regulations.
10. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in the joinery and interior fitout sector to provide innovative solutions and maintain a competitive
edge.
Requirements
1 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
2 Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in a joinery or interior fit-out company, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
3 Strong coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including design, estimation, and client management.
4 Excellent project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and prioritising tasks to meet project deadlines.
5 Proficiency in project management tools and software.
6 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients effectively, consultants, subcontractors, and team members.
7 Solid understanding of joinery and interior fit-out processes, materials, and construction techniques.
8 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
9 Ability to work independently and lead a project team effectively.
10 Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
12 Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and industry standards related to joinery and interior fit-out projects.
