Job Description: The individual will be responsible for supporting the fundraising across all the products in close coordination with the investment professionals, client businesses and executives within the business. The individual will be responsible for supporting the sales and engagement strategy as directed by the senior management, maintaining key client and prospect relationships to grow our assets under management across both AIF and PMS Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Develop an understanding of the existing business (including products/services, customers, competitors, the overall market and trends) through careful research and analysis of business.
• Understand how major stakeholders are thinking about the company’s direction, generally and in reference to specific initiatives, through interviews with these stakeholders
• Help in refining the company’s sales forecasting model and pitch deck, as needed
• Develop accurate benchmarks to guide in the projections
• Work alongside the team to define the pitch used in investor meetings; practice the pitch and help the management team pre-empt investor questions
• Pressure-test every aspect of the client’s business ahead of fundraising meetings
• Execute the sales campaign strategy. Serve as a point of contact and coordination between company and potential clients’ representatives
• Actively supporting the existing relationship managers' sales efforts with clients and prospects
• Initiate education and sales activity with investors not currently engaged in alternatives discussions with company
• Build robust and lasting sales dialogues with clients and being accountable for significant asset growth
• Manage key client relationships at a senior level to raise fund commitments and help senior management in designing customized strategies
• Work with distribution partners to drive new business opportunities
Experience, Skills, and Personal Qualities
• 4 to 5 years of experience in handling the Sales/Business development/Fundraising in Allied industries (Wealth Management / PMS / AIF)
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, research, statistics, math, economics, or related analytical discipline preferred. Masters / MBA will be a plus.
• Financial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis
• Advanced Excel proficiency & practical experience of using Excel for building and maintaining financial models
• Strong understanding of the asset management sales process as it relates to institutional and or wealth investors. (Track record of successful selling to public and
corporate pension plans, foundations & endowments, wealth channels, and financial institutions highly beneficial).
• Proven sales background - track record of building strong client relationships and being viewed as a 'trusted advisor'.
• Ability to drive results in an autonomous working environment and in close collaboration with colleagues within and across business units.
• Capacity to move effectively and efficiently between engaging with investors, relationship managers and product managers to provide value added perspective and
deliverables.
• Strong communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely articulate product and platform characteristics to sophisticated investors both in written work and presentations to large and small audiences.
• Passion for the financial markets and alternatives asset class.
Qualification: Any Graduate, Masters / MBA will be a plus
