Job Description:   

The individual will be responsible for independently managing the following:
• Accounting, including finalisation
• Taxation, including returns filing - IT, TDS, GST, PT
• Fair understanding of different compliance requirements
• Coordinating audit of the entities
• Preparing and discussing various MIS on a periodic basis – as specified by the management
• Performing various reconciliations

Key Responsibilities / Duties:
• Develop a thorough understanding of the existing investment products (investment strategies) of the AIF and PMS.
• Handle independently the Accounting, Taxation (direct and indirect) and coordinating the statutory and/or internal audit of all the entities
• Calculation and recording of Non-Trading accruals, bank transactions and trading accruals of investment in AIF funds
• Calculation and booking of fees accruals, management fees, performance / incentive fees & administration fees
• Ensuring meeting compliance with all internal organizational and business policies
• Preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedure documents
• Providing accounting solutions to Funds for independent valuation and accurate Books of Accounts.
• Performing various reconciliations across all entities.

Education / Experience
▪ 2 to 5 years of experience in handling the accounts and taxation at Allied
industries (Wealth mgt / financial advisory / PMS / AIF / family offices)
▪ B.Com. / BBA / BAF with Inter-CA

Skills and Personal Qualities
▪ Good understanding of Indian capital market investing in equities and long-term investment strategy.
▪ Financial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis
▪ Advanced Excel proficiency & practical experience of using Excel for building and maintaining financial models
▪ Complete understanding of Tally Software and various online portals for return filing
▪ Ability to drive results in an autonomous working environment and in close collaboration with colleagues within and across business units.
▪ Strong communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely articulate product and platform characteristics to sophisticated investors both in written work
and presentations to large and small audiences.
▪ Passion for the financial markets and alternatives asset class.

Qualification: Inter CA + B.Com. / BBA / BAF
