Job Description: We are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking Business & Investment Analyst who will work closely with stakeholders to manage the entire investment lifecycle; identify investment opportunities and manage & track
portfolio companies using data and technology.
A well qualified candidate should have experience and interest in evaluating and investing in private and public market opportunities , a data-driven mindset with a passion for technology, processes and a growth mindset.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze investment opportunities in both, private and public markets
- Prepare industry and sector research reports
- Perform qualitative, quantitative and financial due diligence on companies
- Build best practices for monitoring and data collection of portfolio companies
- Identify and implement relevant softwares and technologies to enable traceability, visibility and optimization for portfolio companies
- Analyze business performance and set up processes to drive scalable growth
- Set business targets and goals and implement systems to track the same
- Help design, document and maintain system processes
- Communicate key insights and findings to relevant teams
- Travel wherever necessary, both domestic and international, from time to time
Expertise & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience in business administration, investments and/or data analytics
- Previous experience in investment analysis and monitoring
- Passion for consuming and processing large amounts of information
- Ability to understand and grasp different sectors and industries
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong presentation skills; both verbal and written
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Data-driven outlook and decision making capabilities
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
- Excellent documentation skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Python and SQL is a huge plus
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills
- Presentation Skills - ability to make, design and deliver effective presentations
- Microsoft Office - Powerpoint (Professional), Excel (Professional - VBA)
- Programming Languages: Python & SQL (big plus)
- Time management, Planning & Organizational capabilities
Qualification: CA or MBA Finance
Keyskills: investment, qualitative, quantitative, financial due diligence
